It was really stressful to put a price tag on the game, but I preferred to do this instead of letting you play the 2012 version with DLCs and stuff. My fans on MyMadnessWorks were obviously involved in this choice, suggesting me how much they would spend on the product based on the new amount of stuff. I decided to put a price tag on Imscared a month or so after the Greenlight process. Sorry for the inconvenience, really: I'll try to explain how things gone with my not-that-good english. I'm not a game designer.Īnyway, thank you for taking the time to listen to my ramblings.Īnyway, thank you for taking the time to listen to my ramblings. I mean, I wouldn't imagine a level editor to be THAT hard to implement. That might be a problem) And it would just add a lot to do, after the main game was completed. Pixelated style, easy to work with, could have a very simple, but powerful level editor, each custom level could do what the original game could do, in that they could manipulate game files, and such like that. It would be the perfect game for such support, as well. Do you ever plan to add Workshop support, for custom levels, and such? That would certainly make a lot of people happy. On a side note: Ever since you released the Workshop Edition, the name got me thinking. I'm sorry about this, but I'm just miffed. You have every right to be angry at me, if you wish to be, but I am just stating my feelings. Even the Greenlight page still says that it's free to play.Honestly, I think you should at least make a public announcment, or at LEAST remove any mention of the game being free to play on the Greenlight page. But the problem I have, is that we have gotten no notification prior to its release that you would have to pay for it. Not because you have to pay for the game, no.In fact, not but a few minutes ago, I purchased the game, as it was cheap enough. I'm just going to say this: I am very, very dissapointed. Directly replying to you has more chance of getting noticed, anyway. I was going to post a very long winded comment on the Greenlight page, but screw it. As time passed, Imscared evolved into a much bigger game that took a full year to develop.Ī demo that covers the 2012 section of the game is on the works, don't worry! The Greenlight was originally made to put a "perfect remake" of the old Imscared on Steam. Originally posted by Mad:Good question that needs an answer!
